Project Description: Viking Steel scope included furnishing and installing seventy-two Structural Steel Trusses and two Canopies on the West side of the new Norman Y. Mineta ConRAC Garage. The average size of the truss span was 72’ tall x 8’ wide. Assembly of each truss was completed in our Sacramento shop.

UCSC Porter College

Project Description: The Porter College Building B (Residence Hall) and Building C (Hungry Slug Cafe) project includes seismic upgrades, interior and exterior renovations and site work including new accessibility upgrades.

At Porter B, the project included a seismic upgrade to an existing four-story, structural concrete building, and the addition of two structural steel floors as well as entry canopy, new elevator and new interior finishes.
At Porter C, the project included a seismic upgrade to a three-story, concrete and laminated wood structure. Site work includes replacement of handrails & patio enclosure.

Viking Steel’s scope was to furnish and install all structural steel, decking & miscellaneous metals.

Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe

One Rincon Hill

Project Description: One Rincon Hill is a 65 story highrise residential building built in downtown San Francisco adjacent to the west end of the Bay Bridge. Viking Steel erected and welded approximately 38 tons of steel supports for the west exterior elevation shield wall at a height of over 675 feet

Renaissance

Project Description: Renaissance is a collection of luxury condominium homes in the heart of Concord’s revitalized downtown. The community includes Mediterranean- and Spanish-style architecture townhomes. Viking provided and installed miscellaneous metals for the entire project including stairs, site railings/gates, ornamental guardrails & balcony grates.

Axis Condominiums

Kaiser Vacaville Hospital, CUP, MOB, and Sitework

Project Description: Viking Steel has participated in the new construction of the Hospital, CUP, MOB2, and Sitework at the new Kaiser Permanente in Vacaville, CA.  Examples of work performed by Viking Steel on the new 340,000 sq.ft hospital and adjoining medical service buildings include structural steel work, stairs, handrails, guardrails, ladders, fences, and rolling gates.

Caltrans

Project Description: The Caltrans District 3 Office Building is a new construction project in Marysville, CA. Viking Steel fabricated and installed both structural steel and architectural finishes throughout including stairs, stainless steel railings, the main entry trellis, interior planter trellis, and aluminum handrails. \n\n\n\n\n\n

State Fund Photovoltaic Array
